After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:
Learn the ultrasound scanning technique to identify the ankle tendons, ligaments and pathologies of lower extremity nerves.
- Learn the ultrasound scanning technique to assess for hip dysplasia and how to measure the alpha angle.
- Learn the ultrasound scanning technique to identify key anatomical structures of the elbow, wrist, and flexor and extensor tendons of the hand.
- Learn the ultrasound scanning techniques to identify key anatomical structures of the knee, to identify the major peripheral nerves of the upper extremities; as well as learn the ultrasound appearances of pathologies of the knee and upper extremity nerves.
Accreditation Statement This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Michigan State Medical Society and the Society for Pediatric Radiology. Credit Designation The Michigan State Medical Society designates this enduring material activity for a maximum of 6.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Accredited CME Activity that includes Evaluation of the Learner with Feedback This activity includes evaluation of the learner with feedback for American Board of Radiology diplomates not completing their OLA annual progress requirement.
Instructions to Receive Credit In order to successfully complete the activity, participants must view the recorded presentations, and complete the applicable post-test and activity evaluation. You must score 80% or higher in 3 attempts in order to pass the post-tests. Once each component of the activity is complete, participants will be able to claim credit commensurate with their participation in the activity and download the credit certificate.
