The primary objective of the SPR National Pediatric Radiology Fellowship Curriculum offering is to provide fellowship programs with accessible educational material that they may use to supplement their existing lectures or fill gaps in their program’s case volume and/or referral base. Additionally, it is hoped that the material will entice new trainees to choose pediatric radiology as a career and to keep our current members up to date and expertly trained.

Clinical knowledge and image interpretation skills are necessary but insufficient to be an excellent radiologist. This Course was created to prepare pediatric radiology fellows with non-interpretive skills for the various roles in which radiologists serve referring physicians and their patients: consultant, manager, leader, researcher, educator, and patient advocate. The scope has been expanded to include topics across the experience spectrum, from training to early and late career. The Course consists of monthly webinars held live online. Details regarding upcoming sessions are available via the SPR events webpage: https://www.spr.org/events/.
