2024-2025 Thomas L. Slovis Career Development Course

2024-2025 Thomas L. Slovis Career Development Course

Clinical knowledge and image interpretation skills are necessary but insufficient to be an excellent radiologist. This Course was created to prepare pediatric radiology fellows with non-interpretive skills for the various roles in which radiologists serve referring physicians and their patients: consultant, manager, leader, researcher, educator, and patient advocate. The scope has been expanded to include topics across the experience spectrum, from training to early and late career.

Slovis Career Development Course Webinar - July 2024

The July 2024 Slovis Course was an opportunity for the fellows and other trainees to connect.  The session began with an update from representatives of the SPR Career Development & Professionalism Committee, Membership Committee, and Early-Career & Trainee Committee.  There was also representation from the AAP Section on Radiology.  The updates were recorded for those who were unable to attend.  The second part of the session utilized the breakout rooms and was not recorded.
