After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:
1.To enable pediatric radiologists and trainees with limited experience in publishing scientific papers to advance their research projects from a given level of conduct to the next level.
2.To expand the participants’ network towards their area of interest in research in pediatric radiology (per subspecialty, per topic).
3. Review best ways to convert the materials of the project into a meaningful manuscript.
4. To develop prepared materials into specific sections of a manuscript (Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion) into a complete manuscript ready for submission for consideration of publication in a scientific journal.
Accreditation Statement This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Michigan State Medical Society and the Society for Pediatric Radiology. The Michigan State Medical Society is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Credit Designation The Michigan State Medical Society designates this enduring material activity for a maximum of 4.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Accredited CME Activity that includes Evaluation of the Learner with Feedback This activity includes evaluation of the learner with feedback for American Board of Radiology diplomates not completing their OLA annual progress requirement.
Instructions to Receive Credit In order to successfully complete the activity, participants must view the recorded presentations, and complete the applicable post-test and activity evaluation. You must score 80% or higher in 3 attempts in order to pass the post-tests. Once each component of the activity is complete, participants will be able to claim credit commensurate with their participation in the activity and download the credit certificate.
