Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

1. Discuss the use of routine body MRI techniques and methods for improving the medical and surgical care of pediatric patients.
2. Review advanced body MRI techniques and methods that are being increasingly applied in pediatric body MRI, including quantitative imaging.
3. Recognize the importance of sharing knowledge and clinical experiences regarding pediatric body MRI.
4. Understand role of MRI (including advantages and disadvantages) compared to other imaging modalities (e.g., CT, ultrasound) used in pediatric radiology.

ACCREDITATION STATEMENT

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Michigan State Medical Society and the Society for Pediatric Radiology. The Michigan State Medical Society is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CREDIT DESIGNATION  
The Michigan State Medical Society designates this enduring materials for a maximum of 8.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

INSTRUCTIONS TO RECEIVE CREDIT
In order to successfully complete the activity, participants must view the recorded presentations, and complete the applicable post-test and activity evaluation. You must score 80% or higher in 3 attempts in order to pass the post-tests. Once each component of the activity is complete, participants will be able to claim credit commensurate with their participation in the activity and download the credit certificate.
